Following two years at a general dental practice in Hamilton, Jonathan was accepted to the Graduate Orthodontic program at the University of Toronto - a specialized three-year degree that includes a research and thesis element for which Jonathan won several awards. Jonathan was fortunate to be offered a position as a staff orthodontist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he worked for four years caring for children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial disorders. It was Jonathan's vision to open a modern and inviting practice that provides excellent care to families in the surrounding community. His office in north Burlington opened its doors in January 2007. Along with working hard to establish and grow |
his practice, Jonathan keeps himself busy raising his four young children (yes, four!) with his wife Louise - a freelance journalist. Jonathan lectures to dental students, dental hygienists and assistants and provides ongoing dental health seminars in elementary schools throughout Halton region. He currently holds memberships with the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Ontario Dental Association, the American Cleft Palate - Craniofacial Association and the Burlington Dental Academy. |
