Meet Dr. Britton

Approach

Dr. Britton believes that a welcoming and collaborative approach is essential for the well-being of patients in treatment. Since establishing his practice in 2007, he has gained a reputation in the community for his compassionate and inclusive care. He continues to seek continuing education opportunities in the field of orthodontics as well as ongoing training in diversity and equality within healthcare.

Education

Dr. Britton graduated with a B.Sc. from the University of Guelph before continuing on to the Faculty of Dentistry at Western University. After practicing hospital and general dentistry, Dr. Britton was admitted to the Graduate Orthodontic Specialist program at University of Toronto. He holds an M.Sc. in Orthodontics and a a fellowship with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He also maintains honorary staff privileges at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

Outside the Office

Dr. Britton is an active member of the Halton community, since moving to the area 20 years ago. Outside of his practice, Dr. Britton is a musician who enjoys the outdoors and is kept very busy raising his four children with his wife, Louise.

Remote Work Experience

Dr. Britton is honored to hold a license to practice orthodontics in Nunavut and provide orthodontic services to improve the oral health of Nunavummiut in Canada’s north. During his five annual trips, Dr. Britton is privileged to experience the unique culture of the Kivalliq region and explore the vast and remote geography.
